Animated Cameras, Characters, creatures, vehicles and props for Visualization in Maya.
Worked on realistic hand keyed animation of animals for postvis.
Animated, added effects, lighting and rendered through Unreal Engine 5.
Learned Linux and pipeline as required for projects.
Implemented, blended and cleaned up motion capture Animation.
3D Animator/Visualization Artist. Halon Entertainment. 2021 - 2023
Animated Cameras, Characters, creatures, vehicles and props for Visualization in Maya.
Created and updated shot sequences in previs for film and games, learned and implemented techvis to film the sequences created and finally completed the postvis for the very same once filming for said shots were completed.
Animated cameras and characters, added effects, lighting and rendered shots in Unreal. Created animation cycles to be used by other artists.
Learned and taught match-moving to peers.
Implemented, blended and cleaned up motion capture Animation.
Composited shots with multiple elements - CG animation renders, elements, 2D effects, unreal effects and live-action plates together in After Effects for postvis.
Created 3D assets with simple rigs as and when required of the project.
Used Mocha and After Effects to rotoscope plates.

Focused on body mechanics of characters in action scenes, how to convey body weight, object weight as well as selection of acting choices to make characters come alive and on screen. Taught by industry professionals working at Pixar thus also dubbing the class as P2.
Special topics Dialogue and subtext. Spring 2020
Lip Sync, emotions and the subtle nuances of character facial expressions to convey a believable performance. We also studied a vast number of movies and references to see the complexities in human movement and emotions and applied them to our animations.
Advanced Character Animation. Fall 2019
Animated creatures, characters dialogue and performances with a heavy focus on physicality of characters and how to combine all the principles of animation to produce a believable piece.

Learned that animation is all about acting and how to take references and making the characters personality believable and convey the emotions and physicality perfectly.

Can draw storyboards to help plan out thesis along with understanding different camera angles and maintain continuity throughout the story from one shot to another without making any jumps and the story arc progressing smoothly.

Animation Thesis
My Project is a 32 second Showpiece about 2 Circus Caretakers who are feeding the creature and one of whom gets trapped and struggles ensues to free himself. It shows animation skills such as lip sync, body mechanics, interaction between props, characters and environment. It also includes change in emotion, creature and performance.
